Woman steals boyfriend’s car A man reported Tuesday that his girlfriend stole his car after an argument..
The man called authorities at about 4 a.m. and reported that his vehicle was taken by his girlfriend, who refused to return it.
The 38-year-old man said he was putting his property into the vehicle to move back to Ohio when an argument ensued in the front yard of their Wendover Way residence near Grovetown.
The man said he walked inside to end the disagreement.
He said his girlfriend then took his belongings out of the vehicle and poured bleach on them. She then took his vehicle.
He sent the woman a text asking her to return the vehicle but she told him to “find other means of transportation.”
A deputy tried calling the woman but a man answered and hung up the phone.
The boyfriend said he plans to prosecute.
Teen charged with being unruly juvenile
A 16-year-old girl who accused her mother of beating her Tuesday was charged as an unruly juvenile.
The teen said her mother tried to “wrongfully spank her” for not being at home and then slapped and punched her in the face.
The girl said she left her Martinez residence and drove to a friend’s house, where deputies met with her. They noted slight swelling and redness above the girl’s left eye.
The teen’s mother said her daughter had lied to her about where she went after leaving her job.
When the teen returned home, she continued to lie to her mother about her location.
The woman told her daughter to go to her room so she could spank her about where she’d been.
The mother said as she started to spank her, the girl fought back. The mother told her to leave if she wouldn’t follow the rules, and the teen left.
The teen acted irate and uncooperative with deputies and was charged with being an unruly juvenile and released to her mother’s custody.
Teens fight on school bus
Two juveniles have been were charged with fighting on a school bus Wednesday morning.
Deputies went to Furys Ferry and Baston roads at about 6:50 a.m. in response to a call about two boys fighting.
The boys were taken to Lakeside High School, where they gave authorities their accounts of the incident.
One boy said he was slapped by another student after accidentally hitting his headphones. The boy said he retaliated and punched the student.
The student said the boy damaged his headphones after hitting them, causing the fight.
Both boys had minor facial injuries. After being charged, they were released to their mothers.
