What would you say to someone who’s thinking about giving your church a try?
“If they haven’t been to church in a while they ought to come and give it a try,” he said. “Give God a chance and let our church show them something different.
‘‘If they have a heart for reaching people and helping people, I’d say we’d be a good fit.
“If you have been out of church for a while, you wouldn’t be lost.”
What do you believe is the biggest issue facing the faithful today?
“The biggest challenge is living in a secular world,” he said. “Instead of fighting it, we need to show the power of the gospel. We don’t have to approve of what the culture is doing, but change it by investing in the people and what is going on.”
