The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two individuals suspected in a shoptlifting incident at the Target on Washington Road in Evans.
On June 6, Target officials alerted authorities after discovering three empty packages of children’s tablet PCs in different locations throughout the store. The tablets, a NABI Jr, an Oregon Scientific Meep! and a NABI Cloud 2, ranged in price from $99 to $179.
After reviewing video surveillance footage, two white males were observed concealing the items in their carts prior to opening the packages and subsequently leaving the store without paying for any items.
