The JROTC Columbia County Rogers Cup was held Sept. 11-13. The competition consisted of 10-person teams competing in either the male, mixed or female category. Competing schools were Lakeside, Evans, Greenbrier, Grovetown, Richmond Academy and Hephzibah. Events included a fitness test, rope bridge event, ravine crossing, obstacle course, cross country rescue and a 2.5 mile team run.  Day one was held at Lakeside and day two was at Evans HS. In the male category, the Lakeside Stryker Team won first place overall and first place in each of the individual events; the mixed category went to Evans; the female category was won by Hephzibah; the Lakeside javelin team also came in third place in the mixed category. Greenbrier's recon team competed for the first time in this competition and finished second. Pictured is the Lakeside Raider team.   Special Photo
