A 21-year-old woman is listed in good condition at the Medical College of Georgia hospital Friday following a three-vehicle wreck on Columbia Road the night before.
Cory Lynn Ledford, of Evans, had to be extricated from a 2003 Honda Civic that collided with a Honda Accord at about 8 p.m. while turning left into the entrance of Ivy Falls, according to a Columbia County accident report.
She was taken to MCG with serious injuries, but her condition has improved to good, according to a hospital spokesperson.
Shannon Angeliqu Ohagan, 24, of Martinez, was driving the Civic and pulled in front of the Accord, which was traveling east on Columbia Road.
The Accord, driven by Dustin Elliott Palmer, 33, of Martinez, struck Ledford’s side of the vehicle. The Civic then spun around and hit a Mercury Sable that was waiting to turn right onto Columbia Road from Ivy Falls.
The Sable rolled across Columbia Road into a drainage ditch.
Michael Dexter Monroe, 46, of Harlem, had visible injuries.
Palmer and a 9-year-old boy in his car both had minor injuries.
Ohagan was cited with failure to yield.
