School Hearings

• A Lakeside Middle School pupil went before the school system hearing officer on May 1, 2012, for an accumulation of offenses and was expelled for the remainder of this school year and the first semester of next school year.

• A Columbia County Alternative School student went before the hearing officer on May 1, 2012, for truancy and was expelled for the remainder of this school year.

• An alternative school student went before the hearing officer on May 1, 2012, for truancy and was expelled for the remainder of this school year and ordered to attend the alternative school for the first semester of next year.

• An alternative school student went before the hearing officer on May 1, 2012, for an accumulation of offenses and was expelled for the remainder of this school year and ordered to attend the alternative school for the first semester of next school year.

• A Lakeside High School student went before the hearing officer on May 1, 2012, for an accumulation of offenses and was ordered to attend the alternative school for the remainder of this school year and the first semester of next school year.

• A Grovetown Middle School pupil went before the hearing officer on May 2, 2012, for terroristic threats and was expelled for the remainder of this school year and the first semester of next school year with the option to attend the alternative school.

• A Harlem High School student went before the hearing officer on May 2, 2012, for drug possession and was expelled for the remainder of this school year and the first semester of next school year with the option to attend the alternative school.

• A Grovetown Middle School special needs pupil went before the hearing officer on May 2, 2012, for an accumulation of offenses and was remanded to the Individualized Education Plan Committee for punishment.

• A Grovetown Middle School pupil went before the hearing officer on May 2, 2012, for an accumulation of offenses and was suspended.

• A Lakeside High School special needs student went before the hearing officer on May 2, 2012, for an accumulation of offenses and was remanded to the IEP committee for punishment.

• A Greenbrier High School student went before the hearing officer on May 4, 2012, for public indecency and was suspended for 11 days.

• Two Grovetown Middle School pupils went before the hearing officer on May 4, 2012, for an accumulation of offenses and were suspended for the remainder of this school year.

• A Greenbrier Middle School pupil went before the hearing officer on May 4, 2012, for an accumulation of offenses and was suspended for the remainder of this school year.

• An alternative school student went before the hearing officer on May 4, 2012, for an accumulation of offenses and was suspended for 12 days.

• An alternative school student went before the hearing officer on May 4, 2012, for disorderly conduct and was suspended for the remainder of this school year and ordered to attend the alternative school for the first semester of next school year.

expelled for truancy LOL

Now I know why the don't want to hear about the good ole days. Judgements from the impotent. What a laugh. LOL I don't want to be here, so punish me by making me stay away. No wonder the education system is chaos. Your are out, but you are in alternative. And if you are out of alternative you are back in . You must stay in school so we can get our 180 days of funding for the budget. Ignore what we say, look at what we do not do.

schools not hearing and alternative school

Never went there and if there had been one, I would not have been able to sit down )-: Detention Hall in the library, yes, completed homework at school.
