Mount Vintage Plantation is a vibrant community, only 20 minutes from downtown Augusta. In the recent past it suffered from the bickering and legal battles of its two developers who dragged down the beautiful community with it.

In the midst of this political season, I am struck by the tremendous amount of money being spent on two presidential campaigns and other federal, state and local campaigns.
Don Zupon, known by his amateur radio call sign W3MIF, has been on the air since he was a young boy.
Zupon is a member and past president of the North Augusta-Belvedere Radio Club, which has been together more than 40 years.
