A father and his two sons were face drug charges after authorities found drugs and marijuana plants in their Evans home Wednesday.
Columbia County authorities executed a search warrant at the home of Duane Edward Houk, 54, at 4752 Mahoney Drive in Evans at about 5 p.m. They found 28.35 grams of marijuana and Adderall and Methadone pills in a bedroom, according to Columbia County sheriff’s Capt. Steve Morris. In another bedroom, authorities found nearly a dozen marijuana plants in a closet with a security system.
In a backyard shed, deputies found 848.95 grams of marijuana concealed in a boat and walls of the shed with about $45,000 in cash, according to Morris.
Duane Houk and his two sons, Blaze Elijah Houk, 25, and Storm E. Blue Houk, 20, all live at the Mahoney Drive home. They were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. Duane Houk also faces a manufacturing marijuana charge and was being held in the Columbia County Detention Center on Thursday on a $32,700 bond, according to jail records.
Blaze Houk was being held on a $7,600 bond, according to jail records. Storm E. Houk also was charged with possession of Schedule II and IV drugs and was being held Thursday on a $15,200 bond.
Holly Colbert, 20, of Wynngate Drive in Martinez, was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of Schedule II and IV drugs. She was released after posting a $12,800 bond, according to jailers
