Emergency personnel pull Gayla Debose, 54, from her vehicle after she crashed into the wall of her Martinez home Thursday. She suffered injuries.

A Martinez woman suffered minor injuries Thursday when she crashed her vehicle into her house.

Gayla Debose, 54, told deputies she was pulling into her driveway that slopes down from the road to the house at about 5 p.m. She told authorities that she hit the brakes, but the vehicle didn’t stop, according to Columbia County sheriff’s Deputy Bobby Bradford.

The Toyota RAV4 crashed through the front brick wall of the Bellewood Drive home. Emergency personnel had to pull Debose from her vehicle.
