Harlem authorities arrested four people this week for selling methamphetamine.

Harlem Police Depart-ment Chief Gary Jones said a vehicle was pulled over just after 3 a.m. Sept. 29 for a tag light violation on E. Milledgeville Road at the Jet Food Store. The occupants – Drew Lynne Grossman, 33, and Jon Brandon Gibbs, 27 – gave officers different stories. Officers discovered and seized 14.6 grams of methamphetamine, more than an ounce of marijuana, two handguns and an undisclosed amount of cash from the vehicle.

Both were charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Grossman, of Johnny Street in Aiken, was being held in the Columbia County Detention Center on a $15,200 bond, according to jail records. Gibbs, of Pugh Kahn Road in Lincolnton, Ga., was being held on a $30,900 bond.

Harlem authorities acted on information from a confidential informant Tuesday and arrested David Wade, 41, and Michelle Ann Rickerson, 39, both of Larkin Road in Dearing, Ga., at the Harlem City Park. Authorities seized 9.6 grams of Ice, which is a crystallized, high-purity form of methamphetamine. Also seized was a 2001 Dodge Caravan.

Wade and Rickerson were each released from the Columbia County Detention Center on a $6,600 bond.
