No one was seriously injured Friday morning after a wreck that flipped a van.
Joshua Lee Canady, 20, of Augusta, was driving a Comcast van south on N. Belair Road in front of Home Depot at about 10:30 a.m. when he was hit by a Chrysler P.T. Cruiser, driven by Thedrea Aleigh Miller, 30 of Grovetown, according to Columbia County sheriff’s Deputy Keith Warner.
Canady was driving through a green light at Peachtree Road when Miller attempted to turn right onto N. Belair. Miller’s vehicle hit the side of the van causing it to flip over twice, Warner said. The van came to rest on its side in the front lawn of Top Notch Car Wash.
Canady, Miller and Miller’s passenger were transported to area hospitals with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Miller was found to be at-fault for the wreck and will be cited for failing to yield the right of way, Warner said.
