Authorities are looking for a Riverdale, Ga., man wanted for robbing convenience stores in Columbia and Richmond counties last month.
Khatrell Rashon Harris, 21, of Bald Eagle Way in Riverdale, is wanted for armed robbery, possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon in Columbia County and armed robbery in Richmond County, according to Columbia County sheriff’s Capt. Steve Morris.
Harris is one of two men accused of using a handgun to rob the Fuel Express on Jimmie Dyess Parkway near Interstate 20 on Feb. 8. Harris and another man pointed semi-automatic pistils at the cashier and demanded money, according to a Columbia County Sheriff’s Office incident report.
The cashier gave the men an undisclosed amount of cash and they ran out the front doors.
Harris is confirmed to be the man who also was involved in the armed robbery of the BP station on Gordon Highway in Augusta on Feb. 7.
