They said the “s” word.

Weather forecasters have issued a prediction for Columbia County and surrounding areas that predicts the possibility of snow for Saturday.

“A strong cold front will push through the area tonight and bring rain changing to snow by early afternoon Saturday,” writes Savannah River Site meteorologist Kelly Scott, in a bulletin distributed by Columbia County Emergency and Operations Director Pam Tucker.

“Snow totals of 1 to 2 inches with locally higher amounts of 3 to 4 inches are possible if the moisture persists throughout the evening,” with higher amounts north of the area, Scott said.

Because temperatures Saturday evening are expected to fall below freezing, that increases the likelihood of hazardous road conditions, Scott added.

Just My Opinion

Can someone from the paper

Can someone from the paper PLEASE tell me why this story is STILL up?? The "Saturday" that is mentioned is Feb. 16, and today is Tuesday, Feb. 19!
Come's time to drop it from the front page on here. It's not professional of you to leave it this long.

It actually had been taken down from the main queue Saturday, but we overlooked the other.

Yeah, I have seen such

Yeah, I have seen such irrelevant and outdated news on the site, which actually doesn’t have anything to do with our present lives. I wonder why they can’t just take down such news off the site forever.
