Columbia County authorities are looking for two men they say robbed a Martinez insurance agency at gunpoint Thursday.
At about 3 p.m., two men, one armed with a silver revolver, walked into the Dougherty Insurance Agency at 123 Davis Road and demanded money, according to Columbia County sheriff’s Capt. Steve Morris.
The pair left with an undisclosed amount of cash in a green older model Ford Explorer headed east on Washington Road, according to Morris.
The robbers are described as black men, one wearing a camouflage hooded sweatshirt and the other wearing a light green hooded sweatshirt.
Anyone with information about the identity or whereabouts of the robbers should call the Columbia County Sheriff’s office at (706) 541-2800.
