A woman cooking Thanksgiving dinner Thursday was hit in the face by her daughter.

The 42-year-old said she was cooking at her daughter’s Martinez residence on Congressional Court when she accused her daughter of using illegal drugs, causing an argument, according to a Columbia County Sheriff's Office incident report.

The woman was hit in the face, causing her fever blister to burst.

The woman grabbed her grandson in an attempt to get him outside of the house.

The woman’s son tried to get in between the two women but was slapped in the neck.

He and his mother were able to get away and waited outside for deputies.

The woman’s daughter told authorities she told her mother to leave several times.

She said the argument started because her mother wanted to take her son.

The daughter said she never struck her mother.

Deputies saw that the woman’s fever blister on her upper lip was bleeding and blood had dripped on her shirt.

The daughter was cited for disorderly conduct.

It's disorderly conduct when

It's disorderly conduct when you hit someone in the face? It's not assault? Who knew!

Oh, never mind, I understand

Oh, never mind, I understand now. That's in the "nice" area, if it happened in a trailer park it would've been different.

A Woman without a name

I am sure this "woman" has a name. This is another example of how lazy and/or biased our journalist have become.
