Authorities looking for beer thief

Authorities are looking for a man they say stole cases of beer from a Martinez grocery store Saturday.

The manager of the Publix at 403 Furys Ferry Road called deputies at about 4:30 p.m. stating a man walked out with eight cases of beer.

The man, 45-50 years old with a grey goatee, came into the store and put four cases of Budweiser and four cases of Bud Light into a shopping cart. He left with the beer without paying for it.
