Columbia County authorities are looking for a man they say walked out of a Martinez grocery store with eight cases of beer Saturday.

Authorities are looking for a man they say stole cases of beer from a Martinez grocery store Saturday.

The manager of the Publix at 403 Furys Ferry Road called deputies at about 4:30 p.m. stating a man walked out with eight cases of beer.

The man, 45-50 years old with a grey goatee, came into the store and put four cases of Budweiser and four cases of Bud Light into a shopping cart. He left with the beer without paying for it.

Anyone with information about the identity or whereabouts of the man should call the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office at (7060 541-2800.
