Columbia County authorities were called to a Martinez home Friday where they found a small, inactive meth lab inside the residence.
At about 4 p.m., the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office was notified of possible drug materials inside the home on the 400 block of Old Anderson Road.
“Components of an inactive meth lab” were discovered inside a bedroom, said sheriff’s Investigator Johnny McDonald.
Because the case remains under investigation, McDonald would not release the resident’s name and said charges are pending.
The investigation should be complete by next week, he said.
