A two-vehicle wreck on Old Evans Road sent one person to the hospital Wednesdsay with a head complaint.
Jason Coffey, 42, of Martinez, was turning left from Vernon Street onto Old Evans Road at about 6:15 p.m. when his truck collided with a Mercedes-Benz ML320 traveling north, said Columbia County sheriff's Deputy Erik Kepshire.
Coffey's GMC Sonoma turned on its side in the intersection.
The driver of the SUV, Gloria Harris, 51, of Lincolnton, was transported to Trinity Hospital of Augusta with a head complaint, but no visible injuries, Kepshire said.
Coffey will be cited with failure to yield at a stop sign, Kepshire said.
Old Evans Road was blocked for about an hour from Old Petersburg Road to McCormick Road, where traffic was rerouted.
