While on his way to the Columbia County Detention Center early Sunday, a Martinez man urinated in the back of a patrol car.

Eric Nathaniel Baker, 25, of the 500 block of Oakbrook Drive, was charged with criminal trespass and interference with government property.

A neighbor called deputies at about 3 a.m. after hearing yelling and items being thrown around Baker’s home. She saw Baker throwing items out of the garage into the driveway and yelling at a 27-year-old woman, possibly his girlfriend.

The 27-year-old said the pair argued about an earlier incident at a bar and Baker got mad and overturned her coffee table. A man was on the phone with her when he heard Baker yelling and breaking items in the background.

Baker said he was asleep and didn’t know how the items on the coffee table got broken. A deputy noted in a police report that he was extremely intoxicated.

When a deputy arrested Baker for criminal trespass, he kicked and damaged the back window of the patrol car. He then pulled down his pants and urinated on the floorboard.

Baker was being held in the detention center Monday on a $4,200 bond, according to jailors.

Breaking News in CC

Thanks for that informative news flash, Valerie. Well, I guess I would rather read about a drunk guy taking a leak in a patrol car than a murder every ten days or so.

Arrested man urinates in patrol car

Well, hopefully the 27 year-old woman sees the true "gem" of a boyfriend she has. If she is smart, she'll kick him to the curb. He should have been given a sponge and some Clorox Clean-up, and made to clean up after himself. Thankfully, they have rubber mats in the cruisers, versus carpet. Stupid idiot.
