A Grovetown woman called 911 Saturday evening after discovering someone broke into her home and stole a pair of panties.

The 31-year-old said she returned to her West Maysfield Road apartment off Jimmie Dyess Parkway at about 5 p.m. and found a message on her bedroom dresser mirror, according to a Columbia County Sheriff's Office police report.

Someone had stole a pair of her black panties and had written on a mirror, “I want you. You will be mine.”

The woman said before leaving for church earlier in the day, she’d taken the garbage out and inadvertently left the sliding glass door of her apartment unlocked, the report said.
