The luck of the draw could get one winner a signed guitar and a pair of tickets to the Oct. 28 concert by Lady Antebellum.
The Greenbrier High School Chorus is selling raffle tickets for $2 each as a fundraiser for the school's chorus and show choir and its guitar classes, said Karen Boyd, the school's chorus teacher.
Available from members of the chorus and at Center Stage Music, in the West Town Shopping Center in Martinez, each ticket gives the purchaser the chance to win a Taylor 110 acoustic guitar signed by members of Lady Antebellum, along with a pair of tickets to see the country group perform Oct. 28 in Evans.
Tickets at Center Stage will be available until close of business at 6 p.m. Oct. 26, Boyd said, and students can sell tickets until noon Oct. 27. The drawing will be held at the school at 3 p.m. Oct. 27.
The day after the drawing, Lady Antebellum is scheduled to perform a sold-out show at the new pavilion named for the band at Evans Town Center Park. Two members of the band, Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley, graduated from Lakeside High School.
General admission tickets to the concert went on sale for $40 each on Oct. 1 and quickly sold out, with most going to patrons who camped in line for as much as three days at the Columbia County Library.
