The Augusta Opera Association announces its Holiday Concert performance: “Home for the Holidays,” to be presented at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 2nd, at Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church, 2261 Walton Way in Augusta. The concert will feature the Augusta Opera Chorus, soloists, Lyra Vivace Chamber Orchestra, and will include some of the world’s most popular light classics and holiday music. A reception will follow in the church’s Alan Fuqua Center. The soloists for the evening will include soprano Melissa Larkin Schultz (Augusta), mezzo-soprano Diane Haslam (Aiken), tenor Jamison Walker (Augusta), and baritone Washington Isaac Holmes (Augusta). The performance will be conducted by Richard Earl Cook, general director and conductor of the company. Tickets for the concert are $45.00 for adults, $25.00 for seniors, students, and active-duty military. Tickets may be purchased by mail or online. Group discounts are available.
