Nyle Grove is enjoying baseball much more this year compared to 2015.
Playing third base last year, the infielder/pitcher took a sharp grounder off his bare hand. The result? A broken finger.
“I kind of got my sports mixed up,” said Grove, who also plays football.
After pitching just two games, Grove is back on the mound finding plenty of success. The Augusta Christian junior right-hander entered Tuesday’s game at Hammond with a 4-0 record. The Lions entered the contest at 11-2 overall.
