The Farmers Market in Evans continues to attract crowds every Thursday afternoon. Children were busy shaking jars of fresh cream to make butter at the Mobile Dairy Classroom recently and also got to watch a milking machine demonstration.

Other attractions included fresh vegetables from Hadden Farms, a variety of artisans and music by the H.I.T (Hillbillies in Training) String Band from Lincolnton.

The Market operates every Thursday from 4:30-7 p.m.on the grounds of the public library through October 30.
