Elmcroft Senior Living resident Mary Jo Peters is taken for a drive in a classic 1964 Chevy Impala Super Sport as part of her Second Winds Dream request.

An Elmcroft resident was granted a wish through Second Wind Dreams as she was entertained by a barbershop quartet and taken for a drive in a classic automobile. Mary Jo Peters and her friends at the senior living facility were serenaded by Acoemeti, a barbershop quartet and given a ride in a classic 1964 Chevy Impala Super Sport by car owner Ralph Neitzke. The ride was followed by a reception for all the residents and visitors. Second Wind Dreams is an international nonprofit organization which helps care givers deal with the challenges faced by patients with dementia by fulfilling a dream and providing educational programs.

Sweet son

Elmcroft!

I had a friend there and visited often. All of the staff members knew me and treated me just like one of their family members as they do for all who live there.

If you have to consider an alternative like this for a loved one, this is a great place!

September is Ovarian Cancer awareness month.
