Lindsay S. Thetford has joined the marketing department at Doctors Hospital as digital media and communications manager. Thetford will oversee internal communications, hospital events, the hospital's social media presence, public relations and other duties as assigned. Most recently, Thetford was the marketing and community relations manager at The Augusta Chronicle.
Julie Hughes has been promoted to pharmacy operations manager at Doctors Hospital. Hughes began working at Doctors Hospital in 2004 as a pharmacy technician. She then went on to graduate from Samford University's McWhorter School of Pharmacy in Birmingham, Ala., with a doctor of pharmacy degree in 2007.
Adrian Willis has joined Doctors Hospital as director of supply chain services. Willis was formerly the clinical standardization coordinator at Palmetto Health in Columbia. Willis is clinically trained as a registered nurse and has his MBA in healthcare administration.
Taylor Rutledge of Grovetown is the recipient of a $1,500 scholarship awarded through the annual Scholarships for Military Children Program. Taylor, who plans to enroll at Georgia Regents University, is the daughter of Jeremiah Rutledge Jr. Her school and community activities include track and field, student government, HOSA, cheerleading and National Honor Society.
