The Sure-Shot Basketball Camp at Lakeside Middle School for rising second- to fifth-graders gave children a chance to hone their dribbling and shooting skills under the direction of former Lakeside High School players Lindsey and Mark Weidenaar. A second camp from Monday, June 10 to Friday, June 14 will be held for rising sixth- to ninth-grade boys and costs $85. For more information contact Tom Weidenaar or Dave Pitock at (706) 855-6900. For an updated list of other summer camps see the sports calendar in the Columbia County News-Times.
