Juniors from local area high schools took a photo before boarding the bus to Statesboro to attend the American Legion Department of Georgia Girls State and Boys State where they received a week of training in government.
The Augusta Christian School's Honors Night was held in in May and the following awards were presented: Bailee Adams (front row from left), Christian Character Award; Morgan Dismukes, Student of the Year Award; and Hannah LaFavor, Christian Character Award. Rob Michels (back row from left), Christian Character Award; Michael Clifton, Christian Character Award; Reid Oetting, Outstanding High School Student Award; and Amaura Brandt, Student of the Year Award. Not pictured: Dominiquie Miles, Outstanding High School Student Award.
