Concerned Women Inc. of Grovetown CEO Bea Sanders presented a check for $500 to Josey High School band director Roderick Wallace to be used for trips and instruments.
Lewiston Elementary held an "Ag in the Classroom" workshop on April 24, with 25 teachers from Lewiston and Stevens Creek elementary schools. There was a workshop that and a trip to Steed's Dairy after lunch where they were shown how to milk a cow and make butter. Each teacher was given $100 worth of materials to take back to their classes so they can teach their students about agriculture.
