Ingrid Feely (center), an employee of the Columbia County Board of Education's Human Resources Department, received the annual Margaret Rodgers Scholarship Award, which helps noneducators continue their education and is named in memory of the longtime school system employee. Grovetown High senior Emily Chizmar was recognized with a certificate from Columbia County School Superintendent Charles Nagle on Tuesday as a Georgia Scholar. Emily is Grovetown's valedictorian and this year's recipient of the Ryan Clark Scholarship and Community Service Award. She plans to attend the University of Georgia.
