Mallory Daniel, a freshmen at Evans High School, recently was crowned Miss Lake Lanier's Outstanding Teen 2012. She will go on to compete in the Miss Georgia Outstanding Teen Pageant in June.
Rebecca Bradley of Evans has been named a 2011 National Merit Scholarship Commended Scholar. Rebecca, a senior at Greenbrier, is in her second year of dual enrollment in the GAMES program at Middle Georgia College. She will graduate in May from GHS and also from MGC with an associate of science degree in physics.
The Brookwood Elementary annual student art show Dec. 8, featured more than 800 artworks based on a multicultural theme. Pictured are second graders Tyler Churchhill, Summer Daniel, Carson Hodges, Jacqueline Tran, Maddox Smith, McKinley Highfield, Madilyn Smith and Emily Jones.
