The Watson-Brown Foundation Junior Board Thomson Chapter presented the Georgia State Society NSDAR with a grant in the amount of $18,000.  The funds, which were matched by the Society, will be used to restore and stabilize the historic home of George Walton, one of Georgia's signers of the Declaration of Independence.
