Crisis volunteers

Rape Crisis and Sexual Assault Services will conduct volunteer advocate training March 8-12 at University Hospital. Advocates are needed in all surrounding counties, must be able to respond to their area hospitals within 30 minutes and have a dependable phone. Purim carnival

The Augusta Jewish Community Center in Evans will hold a Purim Carnival from 12:30-2:30 p.m. March 4, with lunch free to members, $5 to guests.

The Alpha Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa, a society of women educators, is accepting applications for the $750 Bohannon-Birdsong scholarship for high school seniors and college students. For applications, email d.killough17@comcast.net. Deadline is March 5.
