Train and vehicle traffic is once again moving now that a minor collision on the tracks has been cleared in the center of Harlem.
There were no injuries in the collision, which occurred when a vehicle on North Louisville Road stopped too close to the tracks and was clipped by a CSX train traveling through town.
The vehicle, driven by a 17-year-old girl, was crossing the tracks when the warning barriers came down for an approaching train, a Harlem Department of Public Safety spokesman said. She apparently panicked and stopped, rather than backing up, and the train struck the front bumper of the vehicle.
The street since has been cleared.
