Columbia County recently established a set of “rules and restrictions” for those planning to attend the Lady Antebellum concert on Friday.
The concert will be held at the new Evans Town Center Park on Evans Town Center Boulevard.
The park will be closed to the public Friday until gates open at 4 p.m. The show starts at 6 p.m.
Parking lots inside the park will be closed to the public, except for handicapped motorists. Concert goers should park in the Marshall Square field across Evans Town Center Boulevard from the park. Already county employees have roped off sections of the field for parking and used gravel to create makeshift roads into the area.
No dogs will be permitted into the park that day. Also not permitted will be coolers and outside food, but vendors will be available at the concert.
No smoking will be allowed.
Officials are asking that concert guests bring blankets, chairs, and a rain coat since umbrellas won’t be allowed.
Instead of tickets, those who purchased access to the concert were given pins and must wear them someplace visible on their clothing.
Cameras will be allowed into the concert, but no one can videotape it.
