A Florida man accused of a fatal shooting in August went before a Columbia County judge for the first time Monday.
Daniel Nelson Robinson, 21, of Jacksonville, was transferred to the Columbia County Detention Center on Friday from Florida. His hearing was before Columbia County Magistrate Judge Jason R. Troiano.
“This hearing is an obligation to go over charges against you, advise you of your rights and answer any questions you may have through your attorney,” Troiano said.
A first appearance hearing must be held within 72 hours of incarceration.
