Brandon Devon Berry and Morreio Demetrius Carswell, both 18, of Augusta, are expected to go to trial this week in Columbia County. Both are accused of lying to police about the March 19 fatal shooting of James Sterling Gillette Jr., 19, at the Belair Conferrence Center.
