A Columbia County woman who swindled her employer out of at least $378,000 has been sentenced to 30 months in prison.
Because Lisa K. Miller’s crimes were prosecuted in U.S. District Court, her prison term will be served without parole.
Once released, Miller will be on supervised release for an additional three years, during which time she is to repay Traksouth Civil Contractors and Gemini Construction.
Miller pleaded guilty in federal court in March to possession of forged securities. Judge J. Randal Hall sentenced Miller on June 22.
