Hancock County Sheriff Tomlyn Primus has requested assistance from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation with the investigation into the Oct. 14 assault of Warren County football coach David Daniel, according to a news release from the GBI on Thursday afternoon.
GBI agents met with Sheriff Primus as well as Glenn Ingram, chief of the Hancock County Board of Education Police Department, to discuss the case and the results of their investigation to date.
