A class ring found Thursday at an Evans water pollution control plant went unclaimed over the weekend.
The 1976 Evans High School ring was discovered by a worker while vacuuming a lift station at the Little River Water Pollution Control Plant, according to a news release.
After cleaning the ring, county employees found the initials "J.L.L." inscripted inside it. The ring appears to belong to a female and is either a size 5 or 6.
