After a grueling three-game stretch, Grovetown enters its bye week knowing the issues it needs to address.
The Warriors, who have scored just 34 points this season, lost a defensive battle to Lincoln County on Saturday, 14-7.
“Our defense played a hell of a game,” said Grovetown coach Damien Postell, whose team plays again Sept. 16 at Richmond Hill. “I have to give them credit. They bowed their necks a couple times. Offensively, we just have to get some things squared away. We had too many mental mistakes.”
