Gigi Canada was glad to know there was someone who could help her family through a tough time.
“Mainly, it’s the economy,” said Canada, whose husband recently spent five weeks out of work because of an illness.
The illness, combined with the rising prices of food, clothing and gasoline, sent her family to Third Saturday at Mosaic United Methodist Church to seek some assistance for food for them and clothing for her 11-year-old son, Alex.
“And prayer. I can always use that,” she said.
