McDuffie crash kills Grovetown man  04/11/12 - 9:45am

A 32-year-old Grovetown man died after a crash on Interstate 20 in McDuffie County Wednesday evening.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, David Austin Balfour was traveling westbound near mile marker 166 in a 2001 Ford Explorer around 11:20 p.m. when the vehicle left the roadway.

Officers said the driver overcorrected and flipped after the vehicle became airborne.

The vehicle continued to flip until it came to a rest at the bottom of a embankment.
