I agree whole heartedly with your editorial on spending tax money on “frills” (I know you didn’t use the word frills) for a few when necessities should come first (Oct. 5, “Enough is enough on new amenities”).
When the county sales tax was first talked about, all of it was going for roads. But before it came up for a vote it was changed to a portion would be for roads and bridges.
Seems to me they use more for “frills” than for necessities. Why should I vote for more regional sales tax money?
