Harlem surprised plenty of high school football fans around the state with its 34-27 victory over Swainsboro on Sept. 25.
Just one season ago, the Tigers hammered Harlem 48-12. This year, the Bulldogs win was no fluke. They piled up more than 300 yards rushing and led throughout the game.
With the offense producing over 300 yards on the ground, 93 yards passing, and five touchdowns, Harlem’s offensive line has been recognized by Georgia High School Football Daily as the “Popeye’s Bahama Bowl Offensive Line of the Week.”
